american film studio owned by the [[Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group]]. on June 19th, 1918 CBC Film Sales Corporation was founded by Harry Cohn, Jack Cohn, and Joe Brandt, making low-budget affairs (they didnt have much money). on January 10th, 1924, CBC was reincorporated into Columbia Pictures Corporation, and made stuff with a moderate budget.
