founded by Phil Roman to produce garfield stuff. sold to IDT Entertainment (which became Starz Distribution in 2006) in 2003. in 2015 waterman entertainment acquired the studio. in 2017 the secretary of state of california and the california franchise tax board forfeited film roman. the company closed in 2018.
